The goal of the cultural and human rights foundation, “Azadi Freedom”, is to undertake broad initiatives to promote solidarity and peace for all people in the Mediterranean and the Middle East regions.

To achieve this goal, we carry out activism initiatives and events, and produce print publications promoting the unique historical heritage of the cultures of Mesopotamia, and especially the Kurdish culture, which survives unchanged to this day, from the depths of antiquity.

At the same time, Azadi Freedom is fighting for the rights and safety of political refugees and asylum seekers currently in Greece, exiled by political persecutions and war. Azadi Freedom functions as a channel of communication for our fellow human beings and acts as a defender of the rights of the refugees.

Finally, being based in Athens, Greece, all the activities of Azadi Freedom converge in the cultivation and strengthening of the Greek-Kurdish friendship and the historical bonds of brotherhood that unite the two peoples.
